Inception
The inception of Sign Architects coincided with the acquisition of SA. Unit 1B. This foundational year set the stage for our innovative approach to signage design and production.
Investment in Tekcel CNC
We invested in “Tekcel CNC” technology, equipping our in-house cutting and routing capabilities, which significantly enhanced our production efficiency and precision.
UV Flatbed Printing
A strategic investment in an Agfa Anapurna flatbed UV printer marked our advancement over competitors, leveraging technology to surpass traditional printing methods and deliver superior quality products.
Unit 5
Our operations expanded with the acquisition of unit 5, reflecting our growth and the increasing demand for our services.
Unit 4
Sign Architects underwent further expansion, acquiring unit 4 and extending our facilities to over 36,000 sq ft. This year was notable for our significant investments in industry-leading technologies:
The acquisition of a market-leading Letter Bender machine.
Investment in a Trotec laser printer, making us part of an elite group of sign makers equipped with this advanced technology.
Awning Division Created
The introduction of our bespoke awnings division, supported by investment in the state-of-the-art Solar Edge sewing machine, signified our commitment to diversifying and enhancing our product range.
We were honored as winners of the Barking & Dagenham Chamber of Commerce Business Growth award, a testament to our innovative approach and substantial growth.
Growth
Our drive towards sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint was marked by the introduction of an electric vehicle fleet, showcasing our commitment to environmental responsibility.
